I tink me brain is shrinking. Turning to mush. I haven't read a newspaper or watched edifying television in weeks, probably. I am a lazy American, uninformed and complacent. I'm not even using the internet to get news. I haven't read a book in days. And yet, somehow the world keeps turning, and I haven't been caught at a cocktail party with nothing to talk about. This is why so many people have no idea of what's going on outside of their circle of experience. Not enough cocktail parties.
